The Delegation of RMUTT of Thailand came to visit GXPC for exchange

In the afternoon of January 15th, the chairman of the board of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT) and the chairman of colleges and universities league in central Thailand (the former director of the Department of Vocational Education of Ministry of Education of Thailand), Mr. Veerasak Wongsombut visit GXPC with a 8 people delegation. Mr. Liang Wei, Vice President of GXPC, leaders of the Departments of Educational Affairs and Research and Civil Engineering attended the meeting.
Mr. Liang Wei introduced the school’s general situation, school honor, international exchange, and briefly introduced the national "The Belt and Road" construction, relevant personnel training, scientific research cooperation and other projects. Mr. Veerasak Wongsombut expressed great pleasure to visit GXPC and hoped to provide teacher training for RMUTT based on the majors of civil engineering and architectural planning shared by the two universities, and also offer doctoral scholarships for outstanding young teachers of GXPC, so as to strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between the two universities. Subsequently, the Dean of the School of Engineering, Mr. SIVAKORN ANGTHONG, introduced the situation of the School of Engineering in details, and the both sides had an in-depth discussion on exchange students, teachers' joint scientific research, etc.
The delegation also visited the No.1 Training Greenhouse, No.5 Assembly Experience Center, VR Experience Center, Reading Experience Center and BIM Center. Through this visit, the two universities have reached a preliminary cooperation intention in the fields of talent training and academic exchanges.
